Who We Are
Founded by Nick Lobel-Weiss and supported by volunteers from all over the world, Global Emergency Relief (Global ER) is a consortium of planning and preparedness specialists, closely linked with experienced logistics coordinators.
What We Do
Global ER works with stakeholders to ensure that, when emergencies occur, necessary resources efficiently reach the people who need them.
Plan
We believe that resilience for a government, private sector company, or small organization is achievable through the development of objective-driven, actionable planning.
Global ER’s planning and preparedness specialists identify all necessary resources that are available for use in the event of an emergency. We work closely clients to determine when and how to best utilize these resources. Through the development of detailed pre-drafted resource requests, we enable our clients to request outside assistance, should the need arise.
Respond
When an emergency strikes, so does Global ER. Global ER logisticians work closely with partners in the field to make sure that help gets through to the people who need it – fast.
With non-profit clients, we ensure that donors know precisely where their resources are going and when they arrive.
We also use our international experience here in the US and other places where disaster has yet to strike, helping local governments and private sector organizations prepare for emergencies
Recover
Global ER’s commitment does not end when the emergency phase is over. In many cases, this is when our work begins. We work closely with our clients to plan a comprehensive recovery strategy, helping them manage resources every step of the way.
