Nick is tapped to be the Director of Health and Medical for The New York City Office of Emergency Management.  Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner, Nick leads a team of Health and Medical specialists to plan and prepare New York City for disasters and citywide emergencies.  During his tenure at OEM, Nick helps to develop the City’s Healthcare Facility Evacuation Plan and numerous other initiatives.  He helps to manage the response to several notable health emergencies including the Flight 1549 Aviation incident (on the Hudson River) and the H1N1 influenza outbreak.
